If I added my spouse and the application would be approved -- what if I travel alone and my wife cannot travel due to pregnancy. Can I add my child after I land or is it possible for my wife to add child since the spouse would not travel till delivery . What are steps to be followed.

If your child is born before you land and become a PR, you will have to declare it and the child will have to be processed, whether accompanying or not. IF your child is born after you become a PR, then you will have to sponsor your child under family sponsorship.
Currently, IRCC is discouraging applicants to land individually. So all individuals in the family have to land together.
After your child is born, send a webform to IRCC and they will send you a list of documents to be submitted.

@legalfalcon, My AOR is 5 Dec 2019 and I am FSW-O. I received a GU on Tuesday and my medicals changed from "You passed your medicals on December 19, 2019" to "You don't need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes". Please what do you think it means and should I book an appointment for a remedical? P.S My medicals expired last week Friday

The RMO will make an assessment on whether to extend them or ask for a re-med. In most cases the extensions are given. Your medicals have to be valid when you land in Canada. So this is a step before PPR can be issued.

Hello sir ...my aor is 23 dec 2019. I got my Gcms notes on 24.11.2020. Primary office Ottawa and secondary NDVO. File location is Ottawa. Application status is ‘approved’ and in the note 1 section says FILE RFV. My counterfile was generated on 17.10.2020. Valid up to 30.03.2021. I have not received any communication from IRCC till date. Do I need to contact them or I shud just sit back and wait?

There are many applicants in the same boat as you. You can contact IRCC, but you will just have to wait.
Also make sure you have not missed any email from IRCC.

I reckon it's been extended, my medicals have the same message as yours, and it changed after a ghost update about 2 weeks ago, but the extensions has been done way before then. Please check the links for my notes.

My medical expires January 2021, no update so far on extension or re-medical. Anybody else in this situation? I sent an email to the visa office for clarity, we’ll see if and when they reply. If I get visa now it will expire in January with travel restrictions still in place its impossible to travel. Doesn’t make sense. Was wondering if somebody got a reply back on how to proceed in this case! Thanks and good luck.
