Any idea how much time it will take further.
Ccou t shows june 2020. I wanted to know is there a chance it happens before that.
It can definitely happen before then. My completion date is also June. I have a friend who applied for his PR the last week in May and he got it the second week in September. I’m praying to God I get mine in March. Good luck!

AOR - December 23rd
Today my application status showed updated but no changes were made and it just said we are processing your application with a progress bar at 13%. Was expecting Medicals Passed but alas....
That's the longest stage and could take anywhere from one month to one year. It's highly dependent on the individual's personal history and travel history.
I don't think they always verify with employers, from what I've read. If you're inland, it's more likely, but if you're outland, they only do it if something seems sketchy.
My status in background was changed to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check". So, following some old terminology, it is beginning of IP1, but I am not sure if it still correct to follow these steps anymore.
Anyway, something is changing.
