I have not received any email

But once i log in - Under the Back Ground Check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information

Previously it was - Your Application is in Progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check

Me too, no response since passing remedical on February 2020.

Just received GCMS notes today and my eligibility went from Review required to Passed

Passed is a good sign and the major hrudle. Is background check complete too? If so, Security is the next step, once that is done, you can expect PPR.

Nope. I am in FSWO too. Got an email about a survey yesterday but nothing about the application.

Its a huge relief for sure. How do I check in GCMS notes if my background check is complete? Under security , its blank for me. Thank you

Below eligibility itself they must have mentioned a status for "Background" and "Security" too.

Security is just blank. I don’t see background. I could be blind!

Last week I got an update in my account, I was asked to submit Schedule A updated, turns out I missed few details so I updated the form and sent it. At least they’re working.

I just got a call from my immigration office (Montreal) to confirm our application approval and congratulate us for becoming PR. She told me that we would receive today or tomorrow morning the COPR email with the instructions to get the PR card. So it seems things are slowly moving on..

I have never heard of a VO calling someone to tell them the golden email is coming. This person didn't ask for info or money did they?

This person had all the details of our applications as well as details of my representative, and did not ask for money..

This seems unique to Montreal VO. There was another similar experience posted on the Motreal thread where someone from VO called and verified basic information and told the applicant that application was approved.
