May be its started, but not completed from ages. Looks like one fine day they opened a file, requested a ADR and forgot about it. Hope some one in future again touches my file and make things moving.

The case officer has just moved on to other cases. He will probably have to pick up your file again and complete his assessment

They should and they have to change your address. Certainly, no one can fly back to US to submit and later collect passport.
Raise another webform. Tell them your old address and new address. Find the nearest Canadian visa office, where PPR request can be submitted. and tell them to update you Visa office to that one for PPR purpose. Only 15 days are given to submit passport, once PPR is issued.

Yeah, I’m gonna raise another web form and specifically mention New Delhi Visa Office as well. Hopefully they respond to this one!

Thanks! The main thing I’m hoping for is PPR. This wait sucks so much without proper communication and progress, makes me hate the whole process. Seems like all they want to do is hit the 80% target, and forget about the rest.

Today early morning received PPR mail.
Aor 29th dec
Medical 11th feb
Nothing initiated from my side..complete silence till i raised web form on 12th august ...got generic reply after 3 days.And then again after four days received a mail that you will be soon contacted for further step and at the end of that mail there was a short note to the case officer that this applicant is asking about his file status as b/f date was 28th april.pl clarify.
On 26th aug received remdical request,28th medical done.
On 6th account was showing medical passed.
Today ppr.
I wish everyone ppr soon.

That includes conversion of CAD for RPRF, EE processing fee, and WES (my three CAD charges). It includes:

• IELTS Test
• WES Educational Assessment
• Oklahoma City Hotel (IELTS Location)
• FBI Police Certificate
• Police Fingerprinting in my city
• PR and Application Photographs (Physical + Digital)
• Medical Exam/X-Rays/Labs/etc
• Express Entry Processing Fee + Right of Permanent Residence Fee
• FedEx Copying Passports and Envelope
• FedEx Mail to Ottawa
• FedEx mail new photos to Ottawa

Security checks have not been initiated. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Dec 26, 2019.
The agent has sent an email to CIO requesting additional information on the delays. I will let you know when I hear back.
