Early in the morning received my Ready for visa mail.I wish I could cry out loud with tears of joy n celebrate with the people who helped me in this wait. Every alternate hour I read every post on this thread. This is the only place I could relieve myself from pain, all these days waiting for my ppr mail. Today was the last day for 6 months. To all those members who provided insights about, how the process works, thank you guys. I will stick around this thread until @derkdsou @SithLord receive the mail they have been waiting for. All I can say is thank you guys. All the very best for your ppr and future endeavours to my fellow applicants. For details about my profile please look into my signature.

Three days to join the elite club looking at the data from Edmonton, i am sure that i am gonna stay in the elite club for a while ... Wierdly, I am not feeling sad.. I guess i was well prepared for Edmonton... Or may be bcz I got an extension of wp and not so much in hurry now

Lucky you that you got your work permit extended. I believe most of us here are going to join the ELITE club. Me included as well as only 9 days are left for my application to complete 6 months. All VO's are sitting on our files. I wonder what will happen to files from Jan 2019 onwards.

I believe Jan 2019 onwards the applications will be in the normal processing times as they are supposed to give biometrics which will make the security step a bit easier. I got my wp in exactly 90 days as it said on the website. So I was hoping even PR follows the same pattern. Yeah but I know it's just false hope to convince myself not to go nuts.. i desperately want to switch from my current job but i cannot do so until i get my PR

I have my work permit that was approved and stamped along with biometrics at new delhi visa office. I still am waiting for my PR with 9 days to complete 6 months. If what you say is true i should have my PR stamped by now as well. Rest i am not sure. Here every logic fails.

Guys I just received a ghost update and my BG has started. What does this mean? Are there any chances of rejection now?

It is not a ghost update if your background check (or any other) status changes when the top-level says "Application Updated". It's only a ghost update if it says "Application/Profile Updated" and no statuses have changed.

Please stop calling IP2/etc ghost updates.

That's really good. At least you get longer period to move. I think it can be possible that medical furtherance report was received by them after a month from your original/first medical report reached to them.

I won't be moving when landing.
