Yes I also didn't expect that the process will be very quick. I had a ghost update on March 8 then I received the PPR yesterday.
It was really such a relief receiving and reading the golden email.
Yours will come soon too buddy, don't worry.
I agree with @Peacekeeper87's thoughts on this. Since the requirement for Indian citizens to provide biometrics came into effect only on the 31st of December 2018, I will assume, like @Peacekeeper87, that because your overall application has an AOR date of prior to 31.12.18 it does not concern IRCC that you added your spouse to your application at a date later than 31.12.18. This means less work and less money spent for you and your spouse.
Also, it looks like they have refunded the biometrics fees for both you and your spouse? It is my understanding that Inland candidates are not required to provide their biometrics, in which case I was curious to know why they ever requested biometrics from either of you to begin with.
Same Boat!
I called IRCC 2 weeks ago and they said my eligibility is going on and background check hasn't started. I am planning to call again this week, since I have crossed the 3 month mark, and see if anything has changed. It is true that everything is going very slowly. As of now I am just hoping I get the PPR within the 6 months deadline.
