Wait for another week and you'll receive the medical update.

Hey Harnav ... any updates about medicals??
I don't want to read into this too much, but it looks like if IRCC needs to request a further medical exam that it happens within a few days of e-APR. It could also mean that those applicants who haven't received such a request within days of their e-APR are likely to pass their medicals (i.e., MEP) in the normal course of time, which is about 30 days from their e-APR (add a week for Christmas break).

Could depend on the type. Our furtherance was based on some medications disclosed and they wanted assurances of reasons/treatment/stability/etc from the treating physician. It wasn't based on radiology or blood tests.
Sure. It is still fascinating that someone is looking at your file within three days of your e-APR and spending a substantial amount of time on it to make that call.

For what it's worth, the panel physician's radiologist also had a positive finding for a "5mm nodule on upper left lung". I expected a furtherance but I have not received one.
I had a CT scheduled with my primary physician after I told them the findings. My insurance required an x-ray first. I went to get an x-ray the other day, since I have no access to the panel physician's. The radiologist said it's just scarring from a past disease like pneumonia that I had as a teenager. They canceled my CT and said it's of no concern whatsoever and requires no monitoring.
So, I don't know if Ottawa's doctors will say the same thing or what, but I've received no furtherance.
It's probably a lot easier to review a list of medications disclosed than it is to have radiologists review x-rays.
Thank you, that’s helpful!
On reading your signature, I was v curious to see that you are a US citizen trying to move to Canada. The vast majority of the applications being made out of the US are from Indian citizens who are facing issues with their H1B or face excessive barriers in being able to access a US green card. Are you of Indian origin, perhaps? What moved you to apply? I find it fascinating to know people’s motivations and aspirations behind their desire to move to Canada. You can, of course, choose not to answer.
