I'm pretty sure most of these PPRs are actually yesterday Canada/my time. I don't think anybody east of the Atlantic puts accurate dates into MyImmiTracker. Look at the update times on them. They're like 18 hours ago, etc, when IRCC wasn't open.
I am surprised you, as a US citizen are even applying. The only reason I am applying is because of H1B.
I have an American MBA but no job. It is dismal.
Canada is a very nice country to immigrants and has lots of opportunities.

It is a little bit surprising but I have seen a few US citizen on this forum. Everyone has their own reasons but my guess would be for a US citizen the reason may be beyond job.
The fact is USA is still the biggest job market in the world but with an immigration system which has increasingly made it difficult for certain people to have a long term career in the country. H1B wasn't a big issue few years back and companies would regularly sponsor H1B if someone wanted to switch job. These days it is next to impossible to do so.
Canada is definitely much better for immigrants but I'm not so sure about "lots of opportunities". I hope there are.
I hope so, but it's wishful thinking. There are a lot of headwinds ahead -- remember that 11,150 ITAs have already been issued in January alone! I really can't see how IRCC will cut into the backlog at the same time as keeping their heads above water with the surge of new applications without almost doubling their staff.
