Hi team, I have just called CIC and was told that my file is at CIO Sydney NS and also that my background is in processing phase. My AOR is December 25th, 2018 I passed medicals in February 13th, 2019 and would like to check if anyone is still at CIO level or is there someone who had a PPR from CIO Sydney Nova Scotia (I saw one case in another dedicated forum). What do you think?

My timeline is in my signature. Like I said, the entire thing was handled at CIO-Sydney. I assume the "ghost update" is when they transferred it to Ottawa for the PPR email to come a few days later.
Perfect. Thanks for your response. To tell you the truth I was surprised when I knew that my file is at CIO. I was expecting it to be at VO Ottawa or Paris, now you explain that your case was treated in Sydney until the ghost update and you were successful, I think positive. The wait is a huge exercice

I live in Tunisia. Usually candidates living in Tunisia are processed in Ottawa or Paris. Thanks for the suggestion, I will add the country to my signature with the Sydney CIO information.

Sydney is very fast/efficient at processing applications compared to some LVOs. They have a lot of resources concentrated in one place. It's actually a good thing, in my opinion, to have as much of your app processed there as possible.

I am happy to hear that. I hope to have everything done quickly, this immigration project counts a lot and I feel that all my thoughts and energy is focused in it. I believe that all the ppl feel the same, I hope good news to everyone here.

Due in Ottawa tomorrow! Did any Dec AOR US residents with PPR overnight theirs instead of doing ground like me? If so, have they returned your CoPR yet?
Call center agents only have access to the headline details of the progress on your application - they have told me over calls that they do not have access to the full notes, meaning GCMS notes. For example, they might not be able to look up why your eligibility is "review required" - but you already seem to know why.
"Thank you for your email. We have received the “ready for visa” email from IRCC and will send you further instructions on next step by the end of day today."
Does this mean my PR has been approved? I have sent her an email too and waiting for her reply for the same. Just thought of posting here and asking a question.
