Today was our test/ interview. in Scarborough. there were around 10 people who wrote the test. others were seniors around the same 10 to 15 people, who did only interview.
The test was very basic and all based on book. We got 20/20 in the test, They mentioned on the board to show originals of landing form, PR card, 2- Ontario photo ids, all original passports. Officers were general staff from the IRCC not in uniforms. They asked about our visits outside Canada and general questions about any history related to police or immigration.
Officer checked our, PR card, photo ids, and all passports page by page and also asked us to tell about our self. and she told us our Ceremony will be held in December and notification will be send by emails.
Asked us to sign a paper to declare everything we mentioned is true. They were working on files based on hard copies (manual working) no Computers.... Now we need to wait for their emails.

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 25, 2018.
We started processing your application on February 13, 2018.
Yesterday Oct 16,2018 finally we received invitation to Citizenship Test at Scarborough on Nov 1,2018
When applied lived in North York, moved to Newmarket a month ago.
We applied as a family, two adults and two minors.
With God's grace and my parents blessing, I wish to inform everyone that I finally received my Oath invite for the whole family today. Date is Nov 16. Please update the sheet.

FINALLY OATH DATE FOR MY SPOUSE (SCARBOROUGH) OFFICE
1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 2, 2018.

3. We started processing your application on March 8, 2018.

5. We sent you a notice on May 17, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on June 7, 2018 at 8:15 AM. Finally... appeared for the test yesterday. Successfully passed 20/20. Interview was good and short around 6/7 mts. Was asked how many countries travelled, reasons, few questions regarding job, how am I liking Canada, weather...bla bla bla. Test was ok. Only two qus were bit critical and 18 were easy for me but went through all well anyway. Now waiting for the oath. Should be anytime soon she said since I applied on 15th Dec 2017.
