I got my oath invitation today for Aug 21.
Hopefully rest of us waiting for oath will get invite soon.
I wrote my test in Scarborough but oath is at Mississauga.

On a side note, does someone know how to change name after citizenship oath ceremony? I wish to use my English name as my first name on my Canadian passport....

Hi everybody, we applied last Dec 18, 2017. Application received in Jan 25, IP Mar 5. Until now no update. Anybody in same situation?

From Vancouver and was in process since feb 13th...
Date is september 6th but I have to request a new one because I wont be in vancouver by that time .

3. We started processing your application on February 13, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on August 2, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on September 6, 2018

You do not need to renew PR card, if you are not travelling outside Canada.

Now she is also out of canada. if we want to change the test date what is the procedure and how much will our process be delayed for getting next test date. Is it advisable to change the date. Can we choose any dates our choice in September or October. Can anybody guide us what to do.

In the pdf they emailed you there is a “request a new appointment” button , they need you name , email address, your paper number ( top if the email they sent you) , and ask the reason ( im away because of a family medical situation) and ask you to choose 3 dates between september and november ( it is all explained in the email) , they review the dates , select one and send you another email.
