Dear folks .. need some help . I sent my application on 11th December , it was delivered on 14th but no AOR . My house mate sent on 31st December and delivered on 2nd Jan 2019 and he got the AOR today .. should I be worried ? Any use following up with cic?
Main question .. if cic has returned my application ; would they update ecas or would the call centre staff know that the application was returned ?

nothing to be worried about. AORs are not sent in the same order applications are received in. In some cases, it took > 100 days for applicants to get AOR. I don't think contacting IRCC will help either. You could try using the webform, but I think just give it time.
And no, IRCC doesn't update ECAS nor would the call center staff know if your application is returned for being incomplete.
