Did the statement say
"Young generation has different ideas and attitude THAN the parents and grandparents" as posted by cp30985 above
(or)
"Young generation has different ideas and attitude WITH their parents and grandparents"?

I think, the response would vary for these two statements! I mean, did the task ask you to compare children's opinion on parents and grandparents (or) 'parents and grandparents' in general as elders?

It was general I believe, not specific but the question asked how their ideas differ than theirs
