DD en-cashed. Now if denied, is it through e-mail only?

My DD is en-cashed on 15.10.09 (reached there on 21.8.09) at CIO, NS. i.e. the decision is taken. Now I o know that if it is accepted, the E-mail comes. But if rejected, if anyone has experienced, I want to know that still they send E-mail or hard copy in regular post? If they sent through post, is that only one letter or whole set? The DD for my dependents' application fee (which reached there 10 days later) is still not en-cashed. What does this mean?

if your DD is encashed, they will send you AOR very soon.Don't worry wait for a week.they'll send you an e-mails and hardcopy mail.
