I applied for two years MACS (Master of Applied Computer Science) at Dalhousie University. But after their consideration I have been admitted to 1 year Qualifying Year Graduate Studies (called QGS, Faculty of Computer Science). They told that once I clear this program I will be recommended for 1 year regular MACS program. So, all in all I will not lose time of study. It would be 2 years only ...
Will this cause any issues with the Visa now that 'Qualifying Year Graduate Studies' would be mentioned in the official Acceptance letter?

MACS is a program that is meant for people who do not have Computer Sci background but are interested in getting job ready education in Computer field...
I know mine is a very varied profile, therefore..
I am planning to base my SOP in a way that I want to come to India to start up my own enterprise. Now that I have ERP, Financial, Sales knowledge.. if I am Computer savvy, I can set up the enterprise in a better way as Technology plays a huge part in Business these days...
Thoughts?
No it wont...when dal says it will take you a year to complete MACS, firstly its not a hard n fast rule...you can take upto 4 or 5 years to finish your macs even..nd secondly nobody completes macs in 1 year thats very unlikely from my experience
@Dukhi: Thank you for replying.
The point I am concerned about is they have admitted me to a Qualifying Year Graduate Studies program of 1 year. After completing this program, I will be recommended to a 1 year MACS. Usually, first year of MACS has 9 UG courses, they have asked me to complete 6 of those.
What I am worried is my acceptance letter does not have MACS wriiten on it, but has Qualifying Year Graduate studies mentioned as the program. Now, will this cause any issues with the Visa?
@Dukhi: it's the first time I am coming across the Visa processes. Learning everyday. So I am just confirming it with more experienced guys like you...
I appreciate your answer buddy ... Thank you .. +1
