Hi swan, can u share your experience? Did u do daily or periodically to get citizenship?
Hey guys, its good to find there are people who are already doing this. I intend to do this too pretty soon around the east coast in newyork. Do i need the Nexus card to be able to pass the border daily? Whats the advantage?

I am not eligible for citizenship yet. Still accruing days. I do travel once a month to US. I stay in Canada.
What happens to your approved I140 when you get Canadian citizenship?
You work on TN till ur i485 becomes current and after 20-something years(assuming PD post-mid-2016) you can finally settle down and live a happy life in USA.

okay so you live in Canada. I see. If i live 6 months each place less than 183 days will that create any issue for canadian citizenship

Wouldn’t TN be a problem if you have I140 approved?

Your citizenship is nothing to do with your i140. Its still holds good.

Try reaching out to customer care once. They might give you a direction on how to proceed or if they can give an earlier date. Also, keep checking dates in the night, you find nearer dates. No need to panic. Goodluck.
thank you

nope, none of my friends. But few folks in this group were able to get expedited request for H1bs. I am not sure in which location you are in now but try to reach out to Indian groups in that location if you find any difficulty coping with the weather or surroundings. They might get you some leads before you get some closer dates.
