Thank you. I do plan to maintain a US residence for at least 2 nights a week as I am on the west coast and that works out well for me. So i can plan to be in the US on the day of filing, that's a no biggie, so going back toi my original question, in that case do i need to inform anyone (HR or my manager or attorney)? I dont know a scenario, but i am trying to avoid a situation where my employer throws a wrinkle into my daily commute plan, hence trying to figure out if they need to know at all.
They should know, mainly attorney needs to stay on top of your international trips. God forbid, if you are stuck in border one day for some reason, and given that H1b is employer dependent visa, you definitely need their help to bail you out. Not just that, there are several things that attorneys know when it comes to visas, and we necessarily don't know, so it's a bad idea to leave them from the loop.

Hi. Which Canada package is this?
I have the One Plan that includes Canada and Mexico but got a text warning this morning that 50% of my voice and data usage is on an international provider's network. They suggest enabling wi-fi calling.
Hi, Where in West Coast are you traveling to and from US to Canada? I am currently in California and have recently heard about this option of travel everyday.
No, Your passport will not be stamped everyday. You need to have stamped H1B along with Paper I94 ( If you dont have paper I-94, you will get it while entering by road first time when they send you in, simple process)
Hi, i have a Canadian PR and have been on H1b in the US since last 8 years. I am planning to commute daily to Buffalo/Niagara from Fort Erie. My company is based out of Boston but has allowed me to work remotely. Needed your help with the following questions.
1) I believe that to maintain my H1B, i have to commute daily to US and not just remotely work from Canada. Is that correct?
2) As my company does not have an office in Buffalo, can i get a temporary residence in Buffalo/Niagara and show that as my US address?
3) Is there anyone who has an apartment that I can share with and show as my address in Buffalo/Niagara area?
How did this work out for you? I am planning to move to Fort Erie and looking for inputs.
Others' inputs are also welcome.
1. Are there convenient apartments/condos close to Peace Bridge?
2. Would it be a hassle without a car? (I am thinking to sell my car rather than importing and paying high insurance, as I have one at fault 2 years ago.
