I was requested by IRCC to provide additional documents. This is the request I received "Provide custody documentation issued by the relevant judicial authority."
My daughter lives here in Canada with me, but her mother lives in USA. We are not married or in any relationship whatsoever, but we don't have any problems with each other and we are in agreement on our daughter's matters, therefore, getting the necessary documents from her would not be a problem.
I know there is a form from IRCC (IMM5604e) that provides this authorization. Is this form filled, and signed by her mom, and witnessed by a notary public, plus a copy of her passport enough? Or Do I need any additional documents?
I don't have any official custody documents because we never had any problems, and every time I needed any documents from her, she provided.
