What a frustrating! The MIDI website shows since the end of September that they are working on June 18 and throughout October there has been no damn change, does anyone know what is going on? Has anyone called ??? Thank you March applicant here and I sent my application to midi on August 18

Yes! So stressing to wait im august applicant MIDI(MIFI) open my application for csq Sept 13 but no good news when it gonna be the issuance of csq

We will probably get news from MIFI in 2020. If i knew earlier about this problem, I would have set the destination province to Ontario instead of Quebec

- July 2, 2019 for a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child;

Hi,

I am the PA, I called MIDI and they told that CSQ has been issued since 16-October-2019 (a week ago) and they sent it to my sponsor in Montreal
I applied since 2016 as refugee (privately sponsored refugee), I did the medical exam and cleared the security backgroung check (done with all my Federal requirements)....
My questions are:
1- when my sponsor will receive the CSQ mail as it has been sent since Oct 16th via mail (post) >>> give me the average time plz
2- Does CIC receive my CSQ directly from MIDI (in Oct,16th)? if yes, then is there any possibility to get the final decision and travel before 2020?

1. Wait for 7 to 10 business days
2. Usually Yes, they will contact MIDI for CSQ, however, they might ask you to send your copy of CSQ to them.

For point 2, I mean in case the MIDI did not send the CSQ, how would the CIC know that CSQ had issued ?? bcz you said CIC will contact MIDI...
My sponsor is uncooperative, he is not replying to me ... thats why i can't send CSQ by myself ...
Just wanted to make sure that MIDI sent it to CIC ... i am really exhausted since 2016

Me too still waiting my sponsor keep checking the mail box it’s been 31 days.Quebec is so slow process the CSQ !
