CSQ expired during PR process

Hi all,

I applied my PR with CSQ last March (answer pending december 2020).
In the meantime, last June my CSQ expired.

I have now a work permit for 2 years for a certain company that I did just before my CSQ expired.
If I wanna change company, I heard that my CSQ validity is extended during the PR process and I can
still use it to change my work permit.

Is this true or if not and I wish to switch company how should I proceed ?
