But, do you have any suggestions for my with 447 score. Do I need to wait Till they open actual express entry or is there any alternate option. Thank you

When FSW draws restart, a score of 447 will be too low to be selected. You either need to increase your score or look at the PNP programs instead.

Can someone explain to me how they chose who to give an ITA to? I have a friend who has 480 crs points when she created her EE profile last Feb. Its been 5 months and she is still not getting an ITA even though they have been drawing lower CRS scores.

I was under the impression that if your scores are over the cutoff, you AUTOMATICALLY get an ITA? Is this not right?

Yes - it's automatice if you are above the cut off.

Either there is something wrong with her profile and it's not valid.

Or she set up her profile later than she thinks and missed the last general draw which happened in early March.

I guess she is in FSw streem. I had same confusion with my profile. But, right now Canada did not do draws for FSW since April. Just waiting for it to open

If she is CEC, then something must be wrong with her profile and it wasn't properly set up. That's the only explanation.

Last question and this is probably a stupid one. If you are under CEC, there shouldnt be any issues getting drawn during normal/FSW draws right?

No issues provided your score is high enough (and provided your profile is set up properly).
