Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I completed my B.E ( 4 Years - full time ) in " Industrial and manufacturing engineering " in dec 2010 and started job as production engineer since may 2011. ( continued to date ) ( 4 years + experience ).

I started my M.S ( evening program ) in july 2012 in " Mechanical engineering " which finished after 2.5 years in Dec 2014 ( passed out ). So my question is :

1) will i get points for my M.S degree alongwith 4+ years of job experience which i studied in parallel with job or would it be limited to B.E points only ?

i like to mention that my nature of job is directly related to my bachelors degree ( industrial and manufacturing) not M.S (mechanical)

2) i got eca for my B.E in sep 2014 ( when my M.S last semester was in progress ) ... so should i pursue for ECA of Master's degree ?

Thx in advance

If this was acquired in Canada, no. It this was acquired outside Canada, you can count this full-time work experience.

Worth it if it can add points to your profile. Get a provisional assessment from WES before deciding to get an ECA for your Masters degree. http://www.wes.org/ca/immigrants/preliminary.asp

Thx in advance

1) yes , both M.S and B.E education was acquired outside canada ... and my work experience is full time (also outside canada) ( 40 hrs/week )

2)one of my friend applied for eca evaluation of the same M.S degree as mine ( right after passing out ) and got his report as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree.

Hello friend,

I am in same scenario as you. Did you get assessment for Masters with job also counted?
yes you will as long as you didn't do it in canada
