CRS - English Language - Please Advice

Hi All Please advice

My current score is 417 and I looked up and found out that i can increase it to 475 if my Ielts has CLB 9


I had the following IELTS Score

Speaking - 8.5
Writing - 7.5
Listening - 7.5
Reading - 7.0

and the requirement for CLB 9 is ( Speaking 7, Reading 7, Writing 7 and Listening 8) , i was short of 0.5 in listening

so i sat down for the exam again and this time i got

Speaking - 8.5
Listening - 8.5
Reading - 7.5
Writing - 6.5

now i am again short of 0.5 in writing . i dont know how though

Can you please advise should i resit the test again ? or should i just send it for rechecking ? i read that the rechecking will take 6-8 weeks.

Also should i just wait for the Ontario Nomination and go for it ? but that will take a minimum of 90 days and 1500 dollars

I did CELPIP so I don't know if this would work. With IELTS can you apply to have the Writing session re-assessed?

That 0.5 can be crucial. If not I suggest take the IELTS again and see if you can get at least 7 for all components. If you do see what your score is then.

If you have a score after that where you are confident of possibly getting an ITA don't apply for PNP. If you feel your score isn't high enough then consider applying for PNP.

If you've gotten the PT from OINP, you can relax on the IELTS.
If you haven't and you're sure you did the second exam well, you can ask for a review in your writing. Perhaps you get the PT before the result comes back.
Otherwise, I'd advise you make a 3rd attempt. You seem to be able to get the required score based on your first 2 attempts, so you can give it a go.
