Criminal record check in Canada - confused about the process, pls help

Hi guys,
I am already in Ontario and trying to complete the criminal record check. can everything be done at the police station? or do you need to take your fingerprints at the police station then go to an RCMP office do finish the rest? I am very confused about the process.

There's NO need to get Canadian PCC UNLESS CIC explicitly asks you to get one.
