When a credit card transaction takes place, the merchant (CIC) is given a time period to collect the money. I have heard it is 14 days.
Contact your Bank and ask them who made the purchase on your card, where was it made from (it would be CIC Sydney most probably) and how much amount and that should give you an idea if CIC charged.
Good to know that you finally succeeded!!
May I know Cred Card was of which bank ?
I've filled my Citibank Credit Card (mastercard, 1.3L INR limit, valid till 2016) details in the IMM5620E Payment Form for FSW-2014. Will there be any similar problem while CIC tries to charge? (I hope it tries to charge )
Please let me know any suggestion.
Ok, that's a relief . Thank you shareview!
How ever, I've emailed my Credit Card bank to allow the international transaction by "CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS SYDNEY CAN". I'm eagerly waiting for my card to be charged. Application is about to reach Sydney.
Dear classic 123, be prepare to file to be returned, you can do one thing , you can pay online using card, send a receipt to CIO email, if accepts it. Once file is returned attach the copy of online payment and sent immediately.
I have paid my all fees online using my credit card.

Paying online (option 1 for payment) is much safer and effective, you can see it at CIC website (it will guide you all the way). After payment, just print / sign the form and mail it together with the application. Having that receipt tells that you are already paid, no worries. But contact the issuing bank of your card first to check your credit limit and tell them that you will be doing a transaction with foreign and huge amount sooner or later.
If you're using your Credit Card information on IMM forms (option 2 for payment), some banks need your approval thru sms or calls, so the moment the CIC encashed or entered your Credit Card number ( I don't know how the bank will contact you for verification).
