I'm from a visa exempt country (austria,europe)..

Ottawa received my application on april 14
In process on june 4 (ecas updated on oct 9)
medical received (was made upfront)
Csq approval aug 17

I got the batch email about sponsor's proof of residency, etc. on oct 23 .. Sent them the documents on oct. 25

Do I have to wait for PPR or only for COPR? And how long does it take from the batch email to COPR?

For those that ordered GCMS notes, under conditional portion for eligibility , if it states "NO" i am assuming that condition 51 would not apply in my case?

Hello everybody.
A year after we sent our application I finally got the passport request email!
I'm sending it from Canada since I've been staying there the last few months.
My visitor status is valid for another 45 days.
I was thinking of applying for an extension if I don't receive anything withing the following 2 weeks just to make sure I don't lose my status.

It been a week since Cic has received our original passport (for PR visa )which we had sent along with prepaid FedEx envelope to send us back to USA
Still no luck.
Any idea how long it would take and if i should email Cic and check what is going on
I also read Cic at times has taken a month or more to resend original passport , is that true

I see, so it appears that US applicants get faster DMs after the batch email than anyone else who isn't. Haven't seen anyone else from the may batch who got DMs after the batch email who isn't a US applicant. What do you think?

As mentioned in the other thread you posted in, a week is nothing in CIC terms. Give it more time...could easily be another couple of weeks.

I have the exact same question as well. very similar timelines. I am hoping that there is no PPR as my wife too is from a visa-exempt country (Australia).

Did you get the batch email too? I think that there is no PPR for visa exempt country.. I hope we will get good news before christmas

Hey, yes, I got the batch email on oct 23 as well! We applied on April 23rd. In process since June 4th (ECAS updated Oct 20th)!! We have identical dates lol

I guess the question is what's next in the process?
