I do not know what's going on, it is taking forever to process my application.

My timeline is:

10 November - applied for a TRV (paper)
12 November - passport received by Visa Office
23 December - Still waiting...

anybody in a similar situation?

I am in the same boat, Application received November 8th (paper) and nothing so far ( January 6th). Almost 2 month!

Friends help please,
I find that some of U have successfully got your Visas extended after getting extension of your WP. Congrats!!!
I am utterly confused by the online app procedure.
Can U tell me what are the options U select :
-What would you like to do in Canada? - Visit/ Work
-How long are you planning to stay in Canada?- Temp>6M/Temp. <6M/Permanently
-

What are the forms U submitted for online? Are these same as paper submission?
-IMM5257B_1
-IMM5257E
-IMM5484
-IMM5654

My TRV online application has been approved and closed last thursday, so far they have not shipped my passport.

My TRV application was also closed on 14th May (Thursday) and till yet my return envelope tracking number is not activated. I tried calling cic helpline but of no use. I also sent couple of emails but no reply. I have my flight book on 31st May. Is there anyone who can guide why there is a delay in just returning the passports and any hope to get it back early next week?

Just to confirm, you applied on 2nd May or 2nd April? Coz online it says that the application working on is 23rd April...
