i m confused need some help about country-specific requirements forms ..
principal applicant is not us citizen just a valid PR holder from us applying under spousal sponsorship
cic website shows NO need for extra country-specific requirements forms from usa
But issue is that applicant was not born in usa and providing non us Birth certificate REST of documents from us like marriage certificate. copy of us PR card current us address. us phone number etc..
should send county of BORN country-specific requirements forms or NO NEED it
County of nationality OR Current County of residence forms should send
Any one had this issue before plz share

The PA has a US Green Card......but is the PA currently residing in USA.......if YES.......country specific requirements should be for USA.

Country specific requirements: You (the principal applicant) must check the country specific requirements to confirm if any additional forms are required based on your country of residence.

You are required to submit any country specific requirements additional forms based on your country of residence not your country of origin.

Also, in the Spouse Sponsorship Guide......the PA is required to also check country requirement for specific documents like birth certificate.

The PA should check the country specific requirements for the country where the Birth Certificate was issued outside USA,
