One of my friend just got nomination letter from the province. However, she is still waiting for approval of her renewed post-graduation work permit. Having said that, she is on implied status right now.
Does someone know if she has to wait till she has new work permit to be able to apply for PR to CIC? Or she can just apply PR now while being on implied status?
If she has nomination then she can apply any time regardless while being on implied status. She can include a AOR from her work permit application to her PR application just to show that she has applied for a work permit but waiting on approval.
