To keisul86 I crossed the border by land from the US in a private vehicle driven by a friend of mine & I used the ECOPR with my passport & no problem. You can only travel by land either by a private vehicle or walking across the border. You are not allowed to cross by any commercial vehicle including air or bus.
To clarify: in these cases, this is someone who became a PR in Canada, i.e. is already a PR? In that case, fully agree (with proviso not certain about US citizens).
Can I travel with CoPR and passport to country that requires visa? My visa expired in Dec and received CoPR in Jan. Need to travel in Feb but I’m not sure if I will get the PR card in time.

If your question is about what another country will require - well, you'll have to ask that country. My guess is that many/most would require a valid PR card.
If you're asking about leaving Canada - Canada has few if any exit controls. You are free to leave.
The wrinkle is that you will almost certainly need a PR card to board a flight to Canada. If you don't have the PR card, realistically, your options are to travel through USA and enter via a land border, or if you cant' travel through USA, apply for a PRTD (which will take some time).
No. You need either a valid PR card or valid PRTD to board the plane for Canada. Only workaround would be to fly to the US on the way home and then re-enter Canada through a land border.
Thanks for your response. It’s been very useful x Can you confirm whether the PTRD is an electronic document or does this need to be stamped on passport?
Can my CoPR be used for reEntry to Canada from USA by road in personal vehicle? My soft landing has already been done in 2019. It is valid till 2023/04/07 but mentions 'not valid for travel'. I dont have the PR card or PRTD but only the CoPR.

By road, yes. Doesn't matter about the not valid for travel designation. You will already be 'in' Canada when you show it to the CBSA officer for them to identify you as a PR.
