I am an inland CEC applicant and have received CoPR on June 13, 2020. I had submitted my photographs to the IRCC Edmonton office. Since July 8, 2020, my application has been showing as "Approved". Also, I have successfully linked the PR Card application to my CIC profile, where my PR application status still shows as "Submitted"
I had to travel outside Canada post receiving CoPR (to India) for some urgent matter. I was expecting my PR card to arrive in the mail to my Canadian address so that I can use that to travel back. Its Jan 2021 and I am yet to receive my PR card in the mail. I have submitted the IRCC webform atleast 5 times, but received a generic response each time saying that my application is under process. I also called CIC but they didnt have any updates.
I was also trying to apply for PR Travel Document that is the other option to let me travel to Canada. I checked with VFS in India and they confirmed are not processing PRTD yet. Its been over 6 months and I'm stuck. Please let me know what other options I can try to be able to return back to Canada.
