PRTD: CoPR Expired but not received PR Card

Dear All,

I need to clarify two things, Please help me here .

My situation:
work permit is valid till August 2023
CoPR :Received on:JUne 2021
CoPR :Expiring on: Dec 2021
Currently staying in Quebec since Jan'2020 ( Never went outside canada since that time - CoPR also received at same address and PR card also requested at same address in Quebec)

I booked my ticket for mandatory travel with the hope that - PR card will be sent at least in 6 months .

My queries
-1) Can I apply for PRTD from India even if my CoPR is expired? I am travelling to India at the end of my CoPR expiry date .

2)> Can I apply for PRTD when I am in Canada and carry it while going out of Canada

1. You can apply for a PRTD with your COpR expired.
2. No, you can’t apply for PRTD while inside Canada.
