Hi, I received similar COPR letter on June 11 2020(CEC Inland) when I was in Canada.Immediately, I applied PR card as well. But, due to a personal emergency I came back to my home country. So, I don't have PR card in my hand to come back to Canada.
To come back Canada, is there any expiry date of COPR letter? What are the docs required to return ?
The document is valid for one year I believe? But your PR status doesn’t expire just that you may need to get the PR card within a year may be... Please apply for PRTD for returning back to Canada.

So your post is confusing, have you actually landed as a PR or do you just have a COPR with a valdity date on it ? If you have not landed yet you could not apply for a PR card or a PRTD .hence the confusion.
If you have landed then without a PR card you will need to apply for a PRTD
I got COPR by email and it said I am now permanent resident of Canada. (I am an Inland applicant). The email also said to mail photo and the copy of COPR to get the PR card.
Should the photo be stamped with studio address or I just need to write my name and UCI number at the back ?
This confusion arises from the COPR email that I need to write name and UCI at the back of the photo.
But the actual photo instruction page says to stamp studio address at the back. So which is true ?

In recent days, the people who applied as CEC category got the virtual COPR letter (Soft landing-Landing is not required). So, I got the COPR letter with one year of validity when I was in Canada.
I sent COPR and photo for PR card at June 13th to Montreal office. No update till now. I think they took it as low priority issuing PR cards. When you applied for PR card?

Yesterday I was able to login to my CIC online account and search to add my PR card case. You will see a link in the middle of the account home page to link a paper application.
I can now see a application number starting with R. No much details or status yet though. Just says we are processing the case and will let you know if a decision is made or need documents.
I see that people who submitted in June are still waiting. I sent end of July so probably going to take longer for me...
I have submitted a webform asking for status and highlight the need for card for sponsoring my spouse and the need to meet my spouse as it has been 5 months since I was able to travel. Hope they respond soon and are able to process the card sooner. I would like to be able to travel Atleast for Christmas.
However I called a agent and they said I can start my husbands sponsorship with just the COPR letter and don’t need the PR card.
If anyone gets PR card please let me know... would like to know how long it takes.

Yes I saw this... but these times are not accurate. I am thinking that this will be the worst case time. I read in another forum that a person applied in June and got in July. Wondering whether anyone else got it like that...
