Hi everyone, we received our portal invitation today. Yay!!!!!!!! [Or as my spouse says, thank you God. thank you universe.]
Application is inland, paper, spousal application. Here's our timeline for our application:
2022-08-09 Application Submitted
2022-09-02 Received AOR in sponsor email (Mississauga Office)
*Already submitted biometrics for current visitor visa
2022-09-07 Received Medical Request in gckey
2022-09-16 Completed Medical Exam
2022-09-26 Medical Exam Passed
2022-09-07 OWP linked to gckey
2022-10-03 OWP Approved
2022-10-07 OWP Received
2022-10-13 Background check completed on PR tracker (gckey says in process)
2022-10-25 Ghost update in gckey
2022-11-03 Eligibility completed on tracker (gckey says in process)
2022-11-03 COPR details showed up on PR tracker
2022-11-03 ECAS says decision made
2022-11-03 Received pre-arrival services letter on gckey account
*Ghost updates every 2-3 days from last week of November till December 2
2022-12-23 Received portal invitation / letter of approval
*Sponsor approval - no communication received
*Approved In Principle - no communication received

Congrats! I see you got your OWP within a month or so. I have had no updates on my OWP application for about 2 months or so. Would you know how one can check the OWP application status?

You can link the application with the applicant's UCI in GCKey, but they honestly don't show much tbh. We were able to link it and there were absolutely no updates and then it was just approved one day.

Yeah I have it linked to my GCKey account but apart from the receipt notice, there have been 0 updates on the OWP end.

Yeah we had the same. Absolutely nothing, and then one day it was approved.

I got the mail today for PR portal, they asked to send the basic information and after replying to them they will send the portal access. How long it takes them to send the portal access mail after replying?

It should not be more than 48hoours.
