Hi guys
I need your advice. My wife file my case but last week when i receive my notes. The officer asked me about the divorce certificate of my wife. My wife was single and she never married before. She was in Common law relationship. When my wife checked her COPR. Their they mention in Martial status is Married. Even she give our marriage certificate to Canada revenue agency. So they update our record there. Kindly help me how we will solve this mistake.
Thank you!

It's not clear from your post what your problem is - it sounds as though your wife is labelled as 'married', and that... she is your wife.

Checking your post history suggests that your wife is herself an immigrant to Canada, so she has her COPR from when she arrived, so I guess you mean it was marked as married at that point. If she was legally in a common law union then, she will need to provide a declaration that that union has ended, which is a similar concept to a divorce certificate.

We already send statutory declaration with my application but the visa officer is confused when he saw the landing record of my wife where it mention that she is married but she was in Common law relationship at that time.
Now kindly give us advice what should we do??
