hi all, can someone please help me. i am the sponsor for my wife and she received her copr and my last name has a slight spelling mistake. they added one letter like pp when it's supposed to be p and took one letter less like r instead of rr
my wife has same last name as me but all her details is correct even the last name that we share..
i emailed the manila embassy but they just gave the generic response that they give to everyone because it's within 12 months still... i really do not want her to get denied entry because of a small little spelling mistake
what do we do ?????
I don't have a definitive or expert answer, but IMHO I would not bother trying to correct it as it is obviously a typo and one that does not affect her (the PA's) details, which is, I would have thought the really critical part of the CoPR.
I am sure others will chime in with a better sourced opinion!
it's not a big deal. if the CBSA officer feels it's an issue, they will fix it at landing. she's not going to be denied landing because there is a spelling mistake on her COPR that isn't even her personal information.

Don't worry about it! when you land the CBSA officer goes over the COPR again and asks if there are any mistakes on it (including the name), and they will correct them at that time. There are many who have complicated names (like my husband) and I'm sure they are used to seeing mistakes or typos. She can correct it when she lands especially since its minor. We went through this ourselves, its not a big issue.

And congratulations!
