Hi Folks,
I finally got my a new CoPR issued i.e CoPR number 2 after the first one expired in 2019 and several attempts to travel to Canada. The new one now has my 2nd baby included.
Anyhow I'm planning to do a soft landing in April-May. Has anyone recently done a soft landing?
I have a few questions -
1. Is there a mandatory quarantine requirement? (We're fully vaccinated - 3 dose)
2. Can we do a soft landing for 4 days and return?
3. Can we enter at Vancouver and give a Toronto address for PR card?
Thanks!!
Only question though, do you need to have a 14 day quarantine plan to show at immigration? Since you could get randomly selected for testing (and worst case scenario if positive), would 4 days cut it?
Thanks
Hello - I am based in India and recently sent my and my dependents' passports via VFS after receiving the 'Ready for Visa' email. When I track it on the VFS website, it says that it "has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2022/02/15". Does anyone know how long it's been taking recently for IRCC to process passports?
Thanks!

It does get complicated when you travel with a family including small toddlers and have to work out leave plans with your employer. Anyhow thanks for the reply!

Fair enough. I am travelling from Australia. Believe me, the whole world knows that travel plans can change anytime due to Covid being unpredictable. I don't intend staying past 4 days but in the event that I am positive, my employer would have no choice but to understand that I need to isolate before I can re-enter the country.
If there was a way I could push my trip to a few months I would but my second COPR expires on the 29th of March and IRCC has informed me that if I don't enter the country before it expires, I have to start from scratch with the application process, so I have no choice but to make this impromptu trip
