I am actually liking this new process of sending "Ready for visa" emails. Hopefully people with re-issued COPR can travel without AL. I know some people prefer AL but the process of getting the AL is tiresome and too long. Ready for visa might be a quicker process depending on where you live. For my first "ready for visa" email, I received my COPR within a week of sending my passport photos and copy of biodata page of my passport
Especially for those who are exempted with expired COPR. Just re-issue a new COPR with the original approved date so people who are ready to travel can travel
My COPR and Visa was expired back in February/2021 and now I got email from IRCC asking to submit passport again for issuing new COPR and Visa.
Note: IRCC did not ask me for medical again.
My question is that if I submit my passport now, does anyone have any idea that what will be the expiry on my new Visa and COPR?
I hold a post March expired COPR and tonight i received Ready For Visa email. I was expecting to receive Authorization Letter but instead i received this email. Now i need to send my passports to Visa Office again. Any idea when i will get the Authorization Letter?
