Indeed they are taking that much time. I gave remed on Nov 30th and still got nothing at all.

I know a couple who gave re med around nov mid and got AL on Dec 23rd. So, you will also receive it.

SRL is taking 48 hours to deliver the results and the airline needs the test validity of 72 hours. Know of any labs that deliver results faster than that?

Few Dr lal paths(the bigger branches) provides you with in 24 hrs but you have go and give the sample. Home collections takes more time. Call them and ask about the slots.
I am taking about Delhi. I am not sure about other states.

You can also get it done at Delhi Airport before flying. They are very fast and internationally accepted.

Got the 7pt for my wife on 21st and replied with in 2 days. I have not received any AL till now. Let me know when you receive any AL from IRCC.

Renewing your passport does not delay the process except the time it takes to get a new one. Once you file a request to renew and until you receive a renewed passport, you will have to wait. So do it ASAP.

Also when to send a scan of your new passport, it has no bearing on the processing, except it is updated in the system.

You are quite positive person and these words are highly appreciated in these tough times when most ppl like me are really depressed and desperately waiting to land since an year.My file was approved in last Jan.I resigned from job on 26th Jan.That time we could never imagine that we would be sitting here till next Jan and perhaps more.So it was not easy to go through this long wait.
Hopefully we all get thru this by the end of January and by next month we all can land.. earnest prayers to God!

This is the best I can do here. Even I am waiting for my wife(My dependent) to land. My file was also approved in Jan. I have through same depression and hardships. It is not helping anyone.
I am also making sure that others also get the AL that is why following the group.

We all will get through this.

Are you aware of anyone who actually traveled to Canada to complete their landing formalities and returned back?

And for current holders of valid CoPR, do we also need to take special permit to travel? My apologies if I asked this before?

Completed re-meds in Fortis, BLR on 23rd Dec 2020.

Medicals updated on 31st Dec 2020 as passed.

"Current Status" has changed to "Submitted".

What is the TAT for them to issue AL or CoPR (PPR) at this moment?

Within 2 weeks.

I have a doubt regarding the process.
a. I heard that applicants in Canada are receiving a letter from IRCC, asking for a photograph for a PR Card. For example, one of my friends who is single received the letter and applied for a PR card.
b. Applicants outside Canada (with valid/ expired CoPR) are receiving AL for travel to settle permanently in Canada.

IRCC mentioned that all the family members in an application have to land once.

My questions:
i. In my case (such as many), I am in Canada and my spouse in India. So, will I receive a letter for the PR card and my spouse receives AL simultaneously (or within a few days, anything)?
ii. After I receive the letter and my wife receives AL. Can I land in Canada, or do I have to wait for my spouse to land?

The more important question is which lab provides accurate and reliable reports for RT PCR tests? What if someone gets a false positive report?

Valid q..as it has happened in past.And as it wud be too close to flight departure..we wud be left with very little time to redo the test .But I think if we tell them the purpose that we are just doing it as a mandatory procedure and we don't have any health issue, I don't think they will give false report intentionally.
