COPR and coronavirus

Hi guys, i have also received an email for re-medical and it doesn't mention anything about a deadline. It just says that i need to either wait for travel restrictions to lift or get the medicals done again.
My copr expired on May 9th, 4 pointer email Oct 2nd, Medical email received on Nov 5th, VO Delhi. No update on profile. The email doesnt have the IMME letter but just the code.
I am very confused if i should book an appointment for medical or not.
I want to travel however I had read somewhere that AL is being issued to priority cases like family reunification and students.
I am the only applicant in my application and doubt if I will get an extension right now or not. I hope this medical does not get wasted, if i choose to go for it right now.

Go for medicals and upload the Medical Info sheet given by hospital using webform. There is no if and but here. I think NDVO is not issuing any IMME letter and just sending the email notifications for remeds (This needs to be confirmed tho!). Your new meds will have 1 year of validity, therefore, it will not go wasted.

IRCC is really turning to a joke, people that got PPR last month are landing regardless.

How come they are landing in travel restrictions?

I wish you luck in every way! I’ll speak to my agent and revert you back. But we wrote a proper letter pointing out our concerns. But I’m little worried why they asked for my passports. Is it only to cancel the visa or to cancel and issue new visa! I don’t know! I’m worried and confused.!

Thanks for sharing IRCC’s letter.
I think logically they will cancel the old CoPR/ visa and issue you a new one with extended date (just not sure if they would grant you the validity date as you requested). Of course they need your passport back in order to reissue the extended visa. You should not worry too much as they have already written to you that the CoPR will be reissued for extended date.

If you don’t mind, is it OK to briefly share the content of your letter to IRCC?

I called ircc again today.They computers are down today.They are not able to see application status.He said there are hundreds of ppl like you waiting for copr extension and we are unable to give any timelines...
The thing is why do they need to complicate the process. Why can't they simply issue Al to all of us.

Can someone shake ircc for confusing ppl with incomplete notifications and emails...such pathetic system of ircc was never expected.. Putting ppl in limbo

I have done my medical without form and with notification letter email printout only.
