Has anyone from India gotten a COPR extension yet? If yes, how long has it taken for the extension to come through? Do you need booked air tickets for this? Any idea how long are they extending the COPR by?
I just read that India and Canada have started an Air Bubble that allows all Visa holders (Including tourist) to travel to Canada. However, the Canadian Immigration website doesn't say that. Not sure if this counts as resumption of commercial flights. I'm really confused. Any information will be very helpful. Thank you!
CoPR from Vienna office got extended by almost an year. NDVO has not issued any extensions yet as per information on this thread.
Air bubble is a proposal by DGCA. It is mentioned clearly in the press info that both countries should agree to allow the influx of people before creation of an air bubble. Currently there are entry restrictions in Canada and in India(apart from exempted people using special flights).

For stage one processing you will receive an electronic notification of your AIP. For stage 2 processing you will have to wait for when the Visa Application Centres re-open so that you can submit your passport for further processing.
Fools are not going to give E-authorization for sure and may even ask re-medical !!
If you are in India then your VO should be New Delhi. Your application might be submitted in NS but after that it should be transferred to New Delhi for background verification and CoPR issuance.
I think not always. In many cases like mine complete verification is done in same vo but only copr is issued by ndvo.My file was never transferred to ndvo. But now for copr extension all Indian files will be processed in the indian vo from where we got copr.

Meanwhile, India has not allowed entry of all type of visa holders into the country except for those holding essential visa approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Commercial flights need both side passengers before starting the operation, therefore, both countries need to relax the travel restrictions thats what I was saying.

May be they have eased out outgoing traffic due to huge demand but still restricted inflow due to large no of cases here.We will come to know in few days.May be Air Canada flights thrice a week are part of this bubble .
IRCC says if you have a medical condition then you are also eligible to receive immediate copr extension. What medical condition it could be? Any authentic idea?

Hi, I am new here, so sorry if this was answered somewhere else. My COPR expires in November, but I don't think I will find a job till then. Having a job in the US, I am not inclined to go to Canada without a job (now that soft landings are not permitted). Can I choose not to travel this year and ask for COPR extension next year?
Landed this week. No problems with checkin in on flight or afterwards. That lady took some time to put information about my visa, but it all was fine. If I hadn't an overweight in my luggage, no-one would even ask me to show my documents.
My Co-PR was issued before the 18th of March + I also had visa in my passport.
Flew via Helsinki by Finnair. However, then I flew by Air France and with 8 hour flight we only had 1 meal. I didn't care, but this could be important to some people?
Had to wait for 2 hours in line in order to get to the immigration officer. He has asked me about the purpose of my visit, where I worked back home, had I ever committed a crime? and so on ....did not ask the proof of funds paper.
After 3 minutes he has stamped my papers, that's it.
