STOP giving advises. Everything you are saying is wrong. I am not going to correct everything you say, rather I advise people to stop reading posts from you and I will report you to the administrator. I should probably report you to the authorities too for spreading fear and advising people to travel before their visas expire or they will risk losing their visas and status when everyone should avoid all non essential travel and STAY HOME
I’d rather have individuals post replies that are “ Real “,versus people posting Pollyanna replies.
If someone’s medical has expired by six months or a year , do you actually think they won’t be required to have a updated one ?
Seriously? And btw , it’s not advise , it’s advice
I don't think, I KNOW medicals can be extended past the one year expiry for an additional 6 months. This is a procedure that IRCC already has for certain cases even before covid-19 and they are simply extending it to applicants impacted by covid-19.
Do you really think IRCC will have everyone redo their medicals regardless???????
For spreading fear and adviCing people to travel in pandemics?? Yes I would do it 10 times a day if I have to.
I am not here to report people, all I am asking for is to not give guesses and adviSes when you don't know the answer. Not at this time. Many people come here for answers and probably forward the adviSe to others. This isn't the time for this. People may actually end up traveling when they shouldn't!
I called ircc .The agent checked my profile she says that it has been tagged with inability to land before copr expiry. And an officer will review it to decide how they are going to issue new copr.
I don't know why my consultant is not able to see any change. So its relief now.
How do I know the difference between visa and medical expiration? Ist it supposed to end the same date? How do I know which M1 M2 or whatever M is in my medical profile?
Just some (on-topic) humor to lighten the mood and hopefully give some people a smile at my expense. Before India went into shutdown, I came down on a week's leave to visit my family in a different state from where where I work. So right now, I'm in one state and my passport is in another state and there's no inter-city travel.
M1
No public health risk or danger, no public safety danger and no excessive demand
M2
Potential risk to public health. Medical surveillance required. Conditional entry recommended if granted entry to Canada.
For example, applicants may be a “risk” due to a communicable disease that may reactivate, such as inactive tuberculosis.
M3
A health condition(s) is present but is not expected to place an excessive demand on health or social services.
