I think you should be fine. We end up putting the car we are driving in the "goods to follow" list. They said they will not give us a hard time. However, according to the officer, the right thing to do is to pay off your loan and get all the exporting document ready. It should be on goods to come list.
Get well soon.Its like getting pr status at the cost of your life.Guys we must not take the risk.We all should unanimously ask for extension whether copr expired or not.
My parents are in the same situation. I filled the web form on their behalf and got the standard reply back from their end. Did anyone get any extension yet?
Also, I have a question - some of you posted "2 (1- NDVO, 1- IRCC)" What does that mean. I filled only one web form. Please let me know if there is anything additional that needs to be done from our end.
Reason..my family is able to travel as there is no outbound travel resttictions in my country, however, they could not enter canada as the principal applicant is not yet "landed", as in-person interview have been cancelled and flagpoling is not permitted before our copr expires. I clarified this with my webform and they told me that dependants can only getbPr stayus AFTER the primcipal applicant, or at the same time the principal will get her PR status

I totally understand you and agree with you. But what about the option to leave Canada and enter again. I am personally in US but prefer not to travel because it is not safe.

Leaving Canada at the moment via land border is not an easy option for this reason unless considered essential travel. In normal circumstances pre COVID apart from flagpoling people could assuming have the right US paperwork cross into the US do some shopping and come back to complete a landing. Currently this would be considered non essential travel so is banned and although initially for 30 days given the ever increasing COVID fatalities is likely to be extended

I do not mean to US, I mean to home country. But travel is unsafe in general.

Didnt have enough time to do that and there is no certainty that i would be able to come back here before the expiration of our copr as i need to quarantine for 2 weeks in my home country if i go home.. and so as flight availability ..
Now air Canada is again showing travel into canada only allowed for citizens, PR and their family members. Things aren't clear at all. Even CBSA showing travel for purpose of obtaining immigration services is non-essential.
Hi all, newbie here. I've been reading up on this thread and I wanted to thank everyone for sharing their situations and supporting each other
I have a few questions, and I was wondering if you guys could share your thoughts.
My details are below and I've added them to the google sheet already
lost48/May 21, 2020/None/UAE
I haven't raised a webform yet but was wondering whether I should do that already or wait till the end of April since I do have some time?
@Ziyad@saad_im
I'm also a UAE resident and my flight had been booked through Ukraine Airlines to fly on May 9th from Dubai. So far, the flight still shows as scheduled and hasn't been cancelled so I'm assuming that Ukraine and UAE will start operating their flights by end of April. I've checked with flights on Etihad and Emirates and both show flights to Canada starting the last week of April. I guess we can only wait and see if the lockdowns get lifted or extended.
@Ziyad I was wondering what does [2 (Abudhabi) 2 (IRCC)] mean in the webforms raised, is there a separate webform to be filled specifically for Abu Dhabi?
Make My trip is selling tickets for Mumbai-Delhi-Toronto and Mumbai -Doha -Montreal - Toronto for April 15,16,19,20,21,22 with high price. can I book and travel ?
