COPR and coronavirus

Questions please:
I have till 18 Dec to activate my Permanent Residency in Canada, but with the flight ban for Southern Africa, my flight to Canada was booked for 4 December to activate PR status

1. I cannot fly and there is virtually no country that we can stop in for 14 days before travelling to Canada that currently will allow us to do a stopover, how do I go about to have my date extended on my COPR as I had every intention to be in Canada before the expiration date and the covid flight ban was not foreseen by myself or orchestrated by myself.

2. I have a 10 year multi entry visa in my passport as well as the Immigrant visa in my passport, would I be able to visit my daughter on my 10 year visa while waiting for my COPR to be extended, we have not seen each other in 3 years

Kenya and Tanzania have not banned flights from South Africa. You could be in those countries for 2 weeks and then proceed to Canada a d have a Pvt test done there before departure

Received UE on 19th October. Remedical request on 8th November. Just finished my Remedical and I'll reply ircc today.

I got message in GC key as " we are reviewing additional docs.

If you are in the US, I would suggest you can try calling the VFS New York office. They are responsive. Also please share your case details and timelines.

I first applied for Express Entry in December 2019, and the original visa and COPR expired in December 2020. I got the "Do you still want to immigrate to Canada?" letter on Sep 28, and my passport request letter on November 10, 2021.

Is your application EE PNP or FSW/O? Did you get your re-medical request? Generally the extended time period/ new COPR should be valid for 6-8 months, not sure how can it be for such a brief time period. I would strongly suggest to clarify with the VFS NY whether this is a misprint or not. I happened to read a similar misprint stamping date (Port of entry immigration office) on Telegram group.
