FSW-O candidate here, from India.
COPR issued: Jul 11, 2020
COPR expired: Sep 11, 2020
My COPR expired on Sep 11, 2020. I couldn't travel back then due to restrictions and uncertainty so later I sent 2 webforms marking Ready to Travel.
After that it was just crickets! Haven't heard anything back from IRCC regarding new COPR issuance/re-medicals like other people here.
Should I be concerned? What do you recommend my next step should be, other than waiting indefinitely?
I did some deciphering for the VFS tracking ID. So here is what each ID means in VFS India:
Example VFS tracking ID: 20210722INBLPKT10001
2021 - Year package was submitted
07 - Month package was submitted
22 - Day in the month, the package has been shipped from the local VFS office to the Canadian Visa Application Center at New Delhi OC
IN - India
BL - City in India (in this case it is Bangalore)
PKT - Packet number (pkt is the abbreviation for packet)
10001 - The packet tracking number in sequence
Please don't go ahead and try hitting this sample ID in the VFS tracking URL, I'm just sharing this useless fact out of boredom. It is just for you to know where your package is right now. And unless VFS/IRCC office shares the information, we are still in the dark!
@legalfalcon Hi. I had a doubt. I renewed my daughter's Passport. While sending the webform to notify them of the renewal, Should I add her UCI number or Principal applicants?
According to an internal instruction in IRCC, new COPR holder may not be allowed to land at this moment, and there should be a travel advisory letter issued with their COPR. Did anybody receive this letter and their second COPR?
