hi we too are in the same situation. Our visa expires on 13th April and we were flying out of Mumbai on 31st March. I have afew queries if you could help me please.
1. which no did you call IRCC on? Could you provide the no please
2. We have raised a web form too and didn’t submit any documents. Please do update if you get a reply from them
Hey, I too managed to speak to customer service representative at IRCC. He said that a foreign national having possession of COPR (except US citizens, Canadian citizens/Permanent residents) won’t be allowed to enter Canada. Also,as you mentioned he did ask me to wait for the webform reply (he said that they will let us know on how we can get an extension in this particular case - since Canada has closed their borders and it’s not in our hands now).
It is a really tough situation for me and people with similar situation.
I worked very hard to get my COPR , and now the world is ending
i will never travel in these situations , i am worried about myself too , i have Asthma
I am sure the government of Canada will support us and give us a more flexible timeline
I completely understand. Me and my family have also worked damn hard to get our COPR and I have already given up my job as we are supposed to fly on 31st March as our visa expires on 13 April and nothing is going to change by then. I too feel like the world is ending and I am so stuck without a job and to take care of a child now until they allow us to come in. Itoo have raised a web form and I think I will raise another one in a weeks time I do hope they help us and give us extensions for our COPR . Please do keep us updated on any news or replies you get and I too will do the same! I guess all of us in this situation now are the only ones who inderstand what all of us are going thru mentally and we can be each other’s support! Also what is the no for IRCC that you had called? Thanks
Permanent residence applicants who are in possession of a confirmation of permanent residence (COPR) and permanent resident visa (PRV) and inform us, by submitting a web form to IRCC, that they are unable to travel

This link stands old and obsolete after Trudeau's statement since now Canada has closed borders and not because Copr holders are unable to land. Understand the difference.
the information is still prevalent when it comes to holding COPR and unable to travel. I shared it for those people who do not want to complete their landing and want to understand what happens if their COPR expires.

very much understand the difference. The links were not shared in response to Can COPR land (cause that is still not certain). this was to help those people understand who do not want to travel and wish to know what happens if their COPR expires.

It’s not by choice. Foreign nationals in possession of COPR cannot enter Canada after Trudeau’s statement. Us citizens, , Canadian PRs, Canadian citizens and their immediate families being exceptions.

I hold a COPR currently and my common-law partner is a Canadian citizen, so I am hopeful I will still be able to land as planned at the start of April.
