It is clearly stated by IRCC that employment is not a valid reason preventing a couple from living together.
Your partner is legally married and lives in a country where divorce AND adultery are both illegal, so you obviously have a legal barrier preventing you from going to live with her to become common-law. Completely different from the OP.
So because she lives in a country where divorce is not possible ircc will waive the requirement for me to quit my job and go there to become common law ?

Don’t take it too literally about having to quit a job. You and your partner had a legal uncontrollable barrier. Whether you quit your job or not, your legal barrier is there.
The OP does not have the same barrier. Theirs is fully controllable.

Ircc cant force u to leave your job just to become common law for the purpose of a conjugal relationship. My case was accepted as conjugal. Ircc never told me to quit my job and move to the Philippines to become common law. Nothing was even mentioned to that effect
Thanks for your reply, I will also go ahead with my Conjugal application as we currently cannot get married in his country due to them not recognize same-sex marriages/relationships & his application for tourist visa to Canada was not accepted. I've also looked into a long term visa stay for his country and after reading the prerequisite I does not look like I will qualify

If there are serious legal barriers to living together as common-law/getting married, then it will be accepted. If not, your application will be rejected.

Remember the main key to a conjugal relationship is "marriage like relationship"
Do you have any joint bank accounts/credit cards?
Any property owned together ? Ie: property/house?
Do either of you have listed as a beneficiary for life insurance or pension benefits?
Anyway those are examples that you'll probably be asked of. So good luck to u both!
