momi i m plannin to apply for jan intake..my consultant said is,
If you got PR after ur studies means u have to settle down there only..u cannot go to toronto or any other provinces to work or settle afterwards and also application process for quebec is different than any other provinces..[i could not believe till now]
so if you got admit in concordia(MASc s/w Engg) you have to pay 104 Cad $ to quebec govt to process ur visa appl and all[ i believe now by ur replies]
need suggestion in this too and i m also plannin to apply dalhousie univ- (internwkin)..my ielts band is 6(S5.5 L 6.5 R 5.5 W 6)..plannin to reappear in the meantime in ielts..
Well guys I got admitted in masters course in Electrical and Communications 2 year program and have IELTS of 6.5 overall, I am really scared and not confident about visa because I have done P G dip in Management studies from UK and graduation from India in Electrical engineering and I have got 4 years gap in between PG and now dont know what to do

Do they cross verify your experience letter? and also if there is a career gap of more than 3 years. Does it likely to be possible to get visa as well admission? I mean what if we cant get reference letter ( I mean academic) ?

Usually for student visa, no verifications are done unless the work ex is required for course i.e. Mba needs managerial exp. So they do check that in that case.
Otherwise be cool and calm.
For references, have it done from your colleagues who spent more than one year in word with you. Univ demand academic references, but accept it from colleagues as well if you have more than five years of exp. THIS IS ALL ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE.
