If this is true and WES has received a copy of this as well then definitely it won't be recognized anymore but hopefully it does not.

It's a shame UGC is washing thier hands off this. Were they sleeping from 2015 untill now. Why should the students be penalized because of this?

No this doesn't affect PGD. Some people have got successful ECA even after this announcement.

I have done MBA from Annamalai University (2021) and there is some issue with UGC as you might be aware. So will it affect my ECA? Will I get a 2-year master's equivalence? If anyone has gone through the process recently or has any idea regarding the same please let me know. It will be a great help to me.

Do you have any idea about any other organization where it is recognized or any other solution? I want to show it in the SOP as well for my study visa. If any organization doesn't recognize then how can I show my education? Please share any solutions if you have any.

Not sure about any other agencies. You can email them and ask. Keep in mind all other agencies need final degree for ECA, provisional won't be accepted.
