I would not be able to comment on CES as just got my evaluation done through WES. Before applying for evaluation, I was also in the same situation of confusion as you seems. As per my experience, WES seems to be much faster. A reason could be that they ask for payment of fees before sending your documents. You get a reference no. (as your registration no.) and need to send the documents against that only. Surely, it would save time as your documents directly reach them for evaluation and no time is wasted in fees processing.
To my surprise, my evaluation was done very quickly. The entire process from sending documents from my end / my university end to receiving of the WES report got over within a month's timeframe. Moreover, if you are considering WES, it states that the attested marksheets in sealed envelop are required and not transcripts. I sent my documents in a similar manner (got them attested from university Registrar's office).
Its seems like CES have too much bunch of application pending... or the staff assessing the credentials are not enough in context of load of application or both.
Mine was sent the application @ CES on 02 Sep. and still waiting. when i was sent application @ CES processing timing was 07 weeks day by day they increase processing time fast 8, 10, 11 and now 12 weeks. Now i m losing hope. I don't understand why they don't increase their staff as the load of application increases.

Is there any diploma nurse here who has concluded his /her evaluation with CES ? Please, contact me in box because I want to know what CES report states as the Canadian equivalence or Title of qualification before I go ahead to submit application with them.
My credentials have earlier been assessed by WES but they wrote my Canadian equivalence as'' Three years of hospital study and training" (which does not scale through CIC eligibility screening )instead of ''three year diploma''. They turned down my appeal for a review.

Application completed: some times in late July (on my query CES wrote me.)
